Project Description

Sequoia is a project in conjunction with a company called NxGenCare. The goal of the sequoia project is to put sensors in the homes of senior citizens in order to gather data about their daily habits. Once the data is collected it with then be used to build a predictive heath model of the senior, and will allow a caregiver to know when the senior deviates from their routine, which might be a sign of a health problem they are either not disclosing or are not showing symptoms of yet. All of this will allows seniors to stay independent longer and avoid long and expensive hospital stays
